Add an event

Share an event with the community and manage its schedule, location, and registration.

Describe your event

  1. Open Add event. Enter the event title and a short calendar title of up to 60 characters.
  2. Choose a category. Add a description and organizer if you have them.
  3. Fill in ticket and parking information. If the event is free or parking does not apply, say so. Add a registration link and button label if registration is available.
  4. Add contact details or event links as needed. The Contact email (public) field is visible to visitors; your email for managing the event stays private.

Set the schedule and location

Each session needs a date, start time, venue, and city. All times are Pacific. A street address, map pin, and end time are optional.

Use Add another date for a multi-day event. You can include up to 31 dates, with one session per date. An end time must be after the start time on the same day; add a separate session for the next day when needed.

Save and publish your event

With an account

Use the sign-in or sign-up actions inside Manage your event to keep an unfinished draft in the same browser. In the account editor, leave Published on the community calendar checked to make the event visible, then save. You can create multiple events.

With email only

Enter your email under Manage your event, complete the security check, and select Save. The event publishes immediately. We email a private edit link to the address you entered.

Update an event or fix a problem

Open Events in your dashboard and select Edit event, or use your private email link. An account with the same verified email can also manage events submitted by email.

Email edit links expire after seven days. Request a new one from the event’s edit page with the original email. If the event saved but the email did not arrive, request a new link from the confirmation screen.

If Save fails, check required details, duplicate dates, and end times. To hide an existing event, uncheck Published on the community calendar in its editor and select Save event.
